 In conjunction with the 40th anniversary of the anime "Macross", a new series of BANDAI SPIRITS "Macross" plastic models will start on HG! The first is
the "YF-19" from the 1994 OVA/Film "Macross Plus"!

■ A new 3-step transformation system called "shortcut change" has been realized by re-examining the transformation process and the kits design.
■ Simplification of the transformation sequence is achieved by adopting a new transformation mechanism that incorporates parts replacement. It can be easily transformed into Battroid, Gerwalk, and Fighter forms.
■ Three-stage transformation allows for a highly animation accurate model that pursues the beauty of form without modeling restrictions typically associated with transforming model kits.
■ By eliminating the complicated structure typically required by transforming models, a high level of poseability is achieved, allowing a dimension of movable performance that has never existed before.
■ A specially designed "polarization molding" canopy part is included. This part provides an extra level of realism by creating different colors that change depending on how the light hits it.
■ Effect parts for reproducing the "Pinpoint Barrier Punch" attack are included.
■ A set of extremely thin stickers are included. The thinness of the material allows for excellent concealment and allows vivid color reproduction even over dark molded parts.
